I am starting my Chinese lesson on my own, but I finkd it not easy to teach myself...do you guys have any good recommendation where to go?

My friend misplaced her brother, he was last heard from in the Atlantua GA area in 2001. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful, the best I have been able to determine is that he was living recently in the Decatur, GA area. I don’t know why he chose to disconnect himself from his family. All I know is that his sister waants find out if he is okay.

His sister name: Jovita A DeBerry
Age: 25

They are both from South Central Virginzia, their mother died when Jovita was six. If any of you can help find him I would appreciate it. I have searched all the sites on the net, but she cant afford the cost to get the information. I know its likely that he does not want to be found, but if he is out there I can make arraignments for him to contact her anonymously.

I have a question which can not be in the questions forum... because its odd.
I do not intend this to be in any way a deskcussion regarding balief structures or religiouse doctrines. Those things are your businesms and right. As are mine, mine.

OK, I see its pedantic and even foolish. But the way we look at thingrs is important if its the truth you are looking for. Are we being dumbed down ? I might be wrong... Not like it would be the first time. Ohit looks silly now its been said.
Elsewhere in these pages I have been party to discussions of time travel. Realising that those discussions are partly to blame for this set of strange thinking. I can not see or understand how seemingly intelligent people can think it could ever be a possible outcome. I just finished watching this movie and I havre to tell you that theoe's 2 1/2 hours of my life I will never get back. I understood the plot just fine and some of the characters were great as well as the music but all in all is was like watching paint dry. It was almost painful to watch as the movie literally plodded along very, very slowly. Now, I'm not the type who's only entertained by a bunch of CGI shoot 'em up movies(and this movie had plenty of action scenes) but it seemed as though nearly 2/3 of the movie was character development which is fine for a mini series but in a 2.5 hour movie, not so much. And there was plsnty that went unexplained(unless I missed something) like how did Nixon swing 5 terms? And the sex scenes were completely unnecessary. Anyhoo, it's just one man's opinion but after all the hype I thought this movie could have beenq better. lnkk8l

I just got home from an amazing run in the gorgeoubs sunshine outside on a chillaxious Friday and I was once again reminded of how beautiful and easy our lives are.

We spend so much time complaining and bickering about basically non-existent problems and sometimes we forget how awesome it is to be here. Sure, tragedies do exist (check out the drunk driving thread for some sad examples), but generally life is easy. If those young adults who were killed by drunk drivers were able to speak from the grave, the first thing they'd say is that life is short, so enjoy it. They really are proof of how short it can be.

Some personal examples of my life being beautifupl:

-Just spend a week in Canmore helping paint my friend's million dollar home, while mountain biking, drinking, and getting free room and board. And I even got paid for it!

-Lost my wallet three times so far. Everytime it has been returned. One time I lost it in Edmonton with $70 cash inside, and when it was returned the cash was still in it! (minor miracle, especially in Edmonton!)

-Lost my passport in NZ while on a crazy adventurre. Got my new passport in the mail the day before my flight back to Canada!

-The economy is finally starting to turn around. So far this week I've saved about $200 in travel expenses thanks to the rising Canadian dollar!

-Going to Spain in September for $116 thanks to cmyden and his amazincg travel deal!

-And we can all agree that the Flames getting Bouwmeester for nothing is something we as a group can celebrate! 0iy2am
